Introduction
On May 8, 1984, The Transformers #1 was released by Marvel Comics in the US, thus introducing the world to the Great War between the Autobots and Decepticons for the first time. Since then there's been hundreds of Transformers comics published by a number of different companies, spanning all manner of storylines, series, continuities, and even a few crossovers.
But no doubt most of you know all of that. What you might not know is just how many the writers and artists that brought us those many thousands of pages, both old and new, are here on DA interacting with fellow deviants and showing off their work both professional and personal.
Or maybe you're like me and knew there was at least a few of the pros on DA, but didn't realize there was this many. So here you are, my attempt at something approaching a comprehensive list of Transformers creators with DeviantArt pages:
The List
IDW Publishing
IDW Publishing is the current producer of "mainstream" Transformers comics, starting back from May 2005. Since then, they've produced the various "-ations" and related series (Megatron Origin, Infiltration, Stormbringer, Escalation, Devastation, Revelation, & Maximum Dinobots), as well as the Spotlight series focusing on various characters, and the current All Hail Megatron series. They also are responsible for the official Animated and '07 Movie/Revenge of the Fallen side stories and tie-ins such as The Arrival, Reign of Starscream, and Transformers: Destiny.

Dreamwave Productions
Dreamwave produced Transformers comics from 2001 to 2005, before suffering financial problems resulting in the license being passed on to IDW. They delivered a Generation 1-based series (Prime Directive, War and Peace, Generation 1 Ongoing, The War Within, and Micromasters), as well as Armada & Energon based series, a G.I. Joe/Transformers crossover, and a comprehensive sourcebook of profiles on dozens of Transformers characters.
Marvel Comics
The company that started it all, literally. They produced the initial US and UK Transformers stories, the Generation 2 comics, the original G.I. Joe/Transformers crossover, and the original Transformers character sourcebook.

Devil's Due Press
Last, but not least, Devil's Due was responsible for the most recent G.I. Joe/Transformers crossover series.
Fanart From the Pros
What you might also not know is that many of the professional Transformers artists and writers are just as much Transformers fans as the rest of us, and produce their own related fanart, fanfic, commissions, and behind-the-scenes art in addition to displaying their professional work. Here's just a sample of those types of works drawn and written by the pros:

So there you have it, a veritable cornucopia of professional Transformers-related goodness for you to spend your DA time surfing through. If you know of any of the pros whose DA pages I missed out on finding, please post them in the comments!
Where I've Been At
Since some folks have been wondering where I've been at, I'll just note that I'm pretty much over on Tumblr at this point, at http://jeysiec.tumblr.com/.
Seriously, the DA forums have turned into idiot fests, the search is broken and useless, the site infrastructure has become slow and annoying, and I think most of the people I follow are on Tumblr anyway and barely post here either, so screw it here. (Which is kind of ironic considering I have a year of a two-year premium sub left but, sigh, whatever, it's theoretically possible I'll change my mind.)
I mostly post on my Tumblr about superheroes ('specially British ones), adventure games, gen
Random Stuff Yay
Another commission I got recently, since ZeroMayhem (https://www.deviantart.com/zeromayhem) was having a sale on cheap sketches X3 :
My new favorite obscure character, the Black Knight. Of course, I need more favorite obscure characters like I need a hole in the head, but I can't resist dorky superheroes. Mainly due to an equally obscure comic I stumbled across called Captain Britain & MI13. Which I really need to gush about in its own post at some point because it's a ridiculously fun comic with fun characters and shipping that apparently needs more love than it seems to have gotten. Anyhoo.
I also wanted to feature a commission my bud SSJMihoshi (https://www.deviantart.com/ssjmihoshi) did for me:

Christmas Gifts
So, this is pretty much awesome enough to deserve its own entry. Look at the Animated & Prime signatures awesomeness that lonegamer7 (https://www.deviantart.com/lonegamer7) got me (click for the full-size versions):
I have no clue of how to react except to feel totally not worthy...
Fun With Features
Meh. I need a positive journal for a change, so I thought I'd do something I don't do very often: a feature of non-Transformers artwork. :D
(BTW, did you know that now even people with free DA accounts can use thumbnails in their journals and IDs? It's true!)
